What is annual giving? |
---|
The Patriot Fund is Carrollwood Day School's primary annual fundraising initiative and plays a vital role in enriching the daily experience of our students, faculty, and staff. While tuition covers essential operating expenses, the Patriot Fund allows CDS to go further, enhancing academic and extracurricular programs, supporting and celebrating our dedicated faculty and staff, and consistently investing in facilities and campus improvements. Contributions to the Patriot Fund are fully tax-deductible and gifts at every level are greatly appreciated. |
What is a fair donation to the Patriot Fund? |
As a non-profit independent school, Carrollwood Day School relies on annual philanthropic support to go above and beyond for our students, faculty, and staff. Every gift helps us provide exceptional opportunities in academics, athletics, and the arts, while also supporting ongoing professional development for our dedicated faculty. We invite families to consider joining the Talon Society with an annual gift of $2,500 or more. This level of giving helps ensure CDS continues to deliver the highest-quality experience for every student. |
What is the Talon Society? |
The Talon Society pays tribute to our more than 40 years of excellence in education. Donors who give $2,500 or more to the Patriot Fund in a fiscal year are recognized as members of this society. Each year, members receive an invitation to a private reception hosted by the Head of School, Sara Rubinstein, in gratitude for their generosity. |
How will my gift be used? |
Gifts to the Patriot Fund directly support this year’s operating budget and make an immediate difference in the daily experience of our students. Your support enhances student programs, upgrades classroom tools like sound systems, improves campus safety through ongoing security updates, and allows us to expand professional development opportunities for all faculty and staff. It also helps fund vital building and facility improvements that keep CDS at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Beyond these enhancements, strong annual participation signals to foundations, corporations, and prospective families that our community is deeply invested in the continued success and advancement of Carrollwood Day School. Every gift, at any level, makes a difference and inspires others to give. |
