Alumni Update: Anthony
For Anthony Carrie, creativity has always been more than a personal trait, it has been a driving force. As a Carrollwood Day School student, he stood out not just on the football field but for his bold sense of style and a mindset that refused to settle for the expected. Today, as a sophomore business administration major at Florida International University, Anthony is pursuing two dreams at once: continuing his football career with hopes of playing professionally and growing his activewear brand into a nationally recognized name.
Anthony began playing football at age five and brought that same discipline and focus into every aspect of his life. By the time he was a junior at CDS, he was ready to take on something new. He had always been drawn to fashion and self-expression, and with encouragement from classmates and his own growing interest in entrepreneurship, he launched Swift6ix.
The early days were about learning and experimenting. He started with screen-printed shirts sold to friends and family, navigating how to build a brand while still in high school. “It wasn’t very structured at the beginning,” Anthony admitted. “I was trying out different things, just getting my foot in the door.” His early drops were designed for men, but interest quickly grew beyond that. Female classmates started asking for pieces of their own, prompting Anthony to reach out to female athletes and get direct input on what they valued most in activewear. That feedback became the foundation for expanding Swift6ix into a brand that speaks to both men and women.
After graduating from CDS, Anthony spent his freshman year at Georgia Tech, where he continued to develop Swift6ix while balancing a demanding academic and athletic schedule. He says that being in Atlanta, surrounded by a thriving creative community, helped shape his approach to the business and gave him a clearer sense of direction. “As I continued to work on the brand, the clothing got better,” he said. “It made me genuinely proud of my product.”

Now at FIU, Anthony is investing more into Swift6ix. He is working on matching sweatsuit sets and testing new ideas with live feedback. While at the Atlanta Streetwear Market, he showcased a yet-to-be-released set that sparked immediate interest from customers. That moment became a turning point in how he views the potential for his brand.
His vision for the future includes opening physical stores in cities like New York, Atlanta, Miami, and Tampa. With the same determination he brings to football, Anthony is building Swift6ix with an eye toward long-term success and cultural impact.
Reflecting on his time at Carrollwood Day School, Anthony said, “My experience at CDS was nothing less than exceptional. The immediate cultural acceptance within the school was amazing and made me feel at home. The support staff from a mental and academic stance helped me manage well.” One of his favorite memories still lives on the football field. “Scoring my first touchdown as a freshman in the first game of the season at Northside Christian,” he recalled, “That moment meant a lot.
Anthony Carrie’s journey is still unfolding, but his path is already a clear reflection of who he is, a driven student-athlete with a creative edge, a commitment to making his ideas come to life, and a true entrepreneur. Whether he is suiting up for game day or preparing the next product drop, he carries with him the same energy and confidence that defined his time at CDS, and Patriot Nation can't wait to see what's next.
