Access your Magnus Health portal from Veracross! Once you are signed into your Veracross Portal, you can automatically get into Magnus. Update your students health records easily!

Parents, please make sure that you are logging into your Veracross profile and updating your pick-up authorization section (under your household profile) as you have different people picking up your students. Moving forward, CDS will not be able to release students to unauthorized personnel.

Stay Informed with SeeSaw

Seesaw is the primary communication tool used by ECC teachers.  Seesaw provides a secure and safe, easy-to-use, way for students, teachers, and parents to seamlessly communicate and collaborate to enhance students’ learning and success. Seesaw is a digital portfolio that students will use to showcase what they are learning and doing at school and share with their family. 

Once Seesaw is activated for this school year, returning families will use their same account. Access codes and instructions for creating parent Seesaw accounts will be sent home to new ECC parents during the first two weeks of school.

Pikmykid

Are you still using the old Pikmykid app? The old app will be discontinued and no longer functional starting April 1st.

To ensure a smooth transition, PikmyKid has a new and improved app that is already available for download in app stores. The new app offers several convenient features, including the ability to:

• Schedule early pickups or mark students absent
• Update emergency contact information
• Upload images of delegates for added security
• View the school's event calendar
• Easily announce their arrival
• Follow schools directions for emergency dismissals

Your username and password is the exact same in both apps.

Love the parades, but not sure what to do with the beads the day after? Drop off beads to Shelly Hollingsworth in the Upper School.  Donated beads will be given to MacDonald Training Center and provide opportunities that will change the lives of your friends and neighbors with disabilities! Individuals and with disabilities and volunteers will repackage the beads, and keep the bounty out of Tampa Bay!

Beads will be collected until March 20 - after the St. Patrick’s Day parade!

Middle School Shakespeare Festival

What could make Shakespeare Festival even sweeter?
A pie in the face!
During the month of February, Middle School students will donate money towards the staff member they want to see get pie'd. The 3 teachers who "raise" the most will take a pie to the face during Shakespeare Festival. All donations will be given to Way to Battle, a non-profit organization that supports children and families battling through hardship. Way to Battle sends dog stuffed animals, called Battle Pups, to those in need of comfort. The organization was created by 10 year old, Brady Martin, as he himself battles through an extremely rare form of leukemia. Brady is the nephew of Middle School Spanish teacher, Mrs. Byers. No student will be allowed to "hang out" on campus unsupervised after dismissal.

This is an interactive event: families will work in small groups directly with an admission representative and make admission decisions on sample applications.

Representatives from various colleges will walk families through mock applications and provide insight as to how admission decisions are made in a committee review process.
