HEALTH POLICY REMINDER

With the increase in illness this time of year, please make sure you have read and understand the CDS illness policy found in our student/parent handbook on page 21. As a reminder, if your child has a fever, sore throat, or cold, please keep him/her home. Runny and congested noses can spread germs. After an illness, the CDS policy on returning to school is designed to protect against the spread of illness and, also, to protect the child who has been out from a possible recurrence. A student must be fever-free for 24 hours without motrin or tylenol to return to school. This also applies to vomiting.
