The meal program will be billed in nine equal installments (September - May).

Students who may occasionally eat lunch in the cafeteria are encouraged to purchase a 25 block of meals for this exact purpose. Students who are not on a block plan (and choose to opt out) and do not have a lunch from home, may purchase a “day-of drop in meal” for $13.00. This price includes the same items as a meal plan – 1 entrée, unlimited sides, beverage, and a dessert.

Middle School

• Entrees: make your own deli station, make your own salad station
• Sides: rotation of pasta or rice and beans, rotation of yogurt bar with fresh fruit and crudité with chips and dips

Upper School

• Entrees: make your own deli station, make your own salad station
• Sides: rotation of pasta or rice and beans, rotation of yogurt bar with fresh fruit and crudité with chips and dips

In an effort to expedite service and provide ample time for students to complete their lunches, we adopted the meal plan method to mitigate the amount of time students are waiting in lines. With this method, students are checked in and do not have to wait in line at the exit.

Due to this modification, CDS Marketplace items are no longer available in the dining hall during lunch. Elementary students will be able to order breakfast and snacks from the marketplace in the morning.

Building their company through corporate dining services and private catering, Rudi and Julie Flik eventually expanded into the education market, focusing on private and independent schools. In 1995, FLIK's parent company, Compass Group, acquired FLIK. They operate over 265 private and independent day and boarding schools nationwide, throughout 34 states, including 20 in the state of Florida.

As a culinary driven organization from inception, FLIK’s focus has always been cooking from fresh, whole foods and using quality ingredients. Their mission is to provide wholesome, nutritious meals that fuel the minds of our campus communities, each day.

The on-site chef creates menus with local/regional flavors and ingredients. They receive guidance, training and suggestions for on-trend, innovative ideas from a central FLIK culinary, nutrition and marketing team.

FLIK believes in a customized approach to serving students with special dietary needs. Schools receive support from registered dietitians regarding training, operation management and communication to ensure safety.
