Before Care

Both our Bearss Avenue and Early Childhood Campus offer an early morning care program that allows parents to drop their student/s off as early as 7:30 am. CDS families can enjoy this service at no charge. Additionally, we offer a shuttle bus from our Bearss campus to the ECC each morning. Please contact our Transportation Manager, Carl Storck, for more information about the ECC shuttle bus.

Aftercare

Both our Bearss Avenue and Early Childhood Campus offer an extended day program until 6:00 pm daily as well as weekly enrichment clubs. During a child's stay in the after-school extended day programs, they will be able to participate in supervised indoor/outdoor play, crafts, and quiet time, while older students will have the option to work on homework.

2024-2025 Aftercare Fees

Drop-in Rate: ECC - $21/BAC - $22
Monthly Rate: ECC - $265/BAC - $275
Semester Rate: ECC - $1,150/BAC - $1,200
Annual Rate: ECC - $2,100/BAC - $2,200

Please note that there is a 30-minute grace period after school ends before parents will be charged for aftercare. There will be a $5 per minute late fee for any students still in aftercare after 6:00 pm. After the third instance, the student will risk no longer being able to attend aftercare.

Once you register your child for aftercare and select a payment plan you will not be allowed to change it during the school year. Any child that is not pre-registered for after-care will automatically be charged the daily drop-in rate. All fees for after-school care will be paid through Veracross.

Carrollwood Day School offers a robust menu of after school programming for CDS students at both the Bearss Avenue and Early Childhood Campus.  After school enrichment programs vary throughout the years and have included various forms of Art, STEM, Culinary Arts,  Acting, Homework Help, Intramural Sports, Writing, Music Lessons, Engineering, and more.  Students can choose from the variety of after-school programs that are designed to create enthusiasm for learning while building creativity, imagination and positive social skills. These programs are offered by CDS staff and other professionals who want to share their talent and passion for their field.

Please note that all programs have minimum and maximum enrollment numbers.
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. These enrollment numbers vary by program.

All sessions are 8 weeks long. There will be no make-up classes if one is missed due to holidays or events.

After the first week of each session no changes or refunds can be made.
