Alumni Visiting Policy

 

CDS encourages alumni to visit the campus, take a tour and say “hello” to your former teachers. For the safety and consideration of all our students - and in an effort to ensure the protection of children, faculty, and staff, we kindly ask that all alums observe the following regulations regarding school visitors.

During school hours (8:00 am - 3:30 pm)

• During school hours we require that you first visit the front desk. Visitors must be accompanied by a CDS staff member while on campus and the front desk will make every effort to locate a team member. If you just want to walk around and see the building, if someone is available, they will meet you, provide you with a visitor pass, and happily guide you on your tour.
• To visit a CDS staff member we kindly ask that you contact the teacher/administrator to schedule a mutually convenient time to visit. You can find all of our teacher and staff member email addresses on our website under staff directory.
• Once you schedule your visit, the teacher will let the front office know they are expecting you. The teacher will accompany you during your visit.
• You will be given a visitor pass and asked to sign in, and sign out when you return your visitor pass.

After school hours (3:45pm - on)

• Alumni are encouraged to come to all events on campus after hours. All sporting events are free for alumni.
• Alumni are welcome on campus after school hours but are still required to sign in and out and receive a visitors pass from the front desk.
