Dear Parents,
Your child has been registered to attend a live production of Romeo and Juliet at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. This performance directly connects to the Language and Literature curriculum at CDS since eighth-grade students read Romeo and Juliet in class.
COVID Requirements:
- If you have opted for proof of vaccination, please confirm that you have uploaded your son or daughter's vaccine card to Magnus. (How to upload COVID vaccine card.)
- If you have opted for a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test, please send a copy of the test to Deb Golden by Tuesday, February 1st. We recommend having the PCR on Sunday, January 30 to provide enough time for results.
Attire
Since students are attending the Straz Center, we would like them to wear business attire. Please check in with your child to confirm they have the following:
- Boys: Dress pants, a collared shirt, and a tie. A sports coat is optional. No shorts, please.
- Girls: Slacks, a skirt, or a dress. Length must be at least fingertip length. Please wear a blouse with an appropriate neckline and shoes that are comfortable.
Lunch
FLIK will be offering boxed lunches. Please complete the following Google form to order a boxed lunch. You may also pack a lunch from home.

Drop-off
Students are to be dropped off at the normal CDS time. Students are to report to the Student Union at 8:15 am.
Pick-up
Students will be arriving back on campus at around 2:00 pm and can be picked up at that time. Alternatively, there will be a Study Hall from 2:00-3:00 pm.
