Fifth grade students lead the way, applying their learning and taking action to make a better world.
This year's PYP Exhibition was held the week of May 16 - 20. Each class presented on a specific day and shared an introduction to their topic. Their parents and other elementary classes then got to participate in interactive stations.
Each of the five classes spent the semester working on student-driven collaborative inquiries into real-life issues they identified as important to them. This year the students focused their studies on the following central ideas:

The students did unbelievable in their research and presentation of their central ideas and the interactive booths were some of the most inventive we have seen. Well done 5th graders. You're ready for middle school.
Thank you to 5th-grade teachers Dr. Fisher, Mrs. Monty, Mrs. Rodriguez-Sarrion, Mrs. Viera, and Mrs. Youngblood for facilitating this important culmination of the PYP curriculum.
