The Social Institute (TSI) is one of CDS’ most recent partnerships to help further develop students' character strengths like empathy, integrity, and teamwork. TSI provides 4th through 12th grade teachers and advisors with an online platform that empowers students to navigate their social world - social media and technology - to fuel their health, happiness and future success. CDS is excited to implement The Social Institute as an additional tool, used by our faculty and counselors, to support our students’ character, emotional intelligence, and overall social-emotional wellness.

Here are some of the crucial resources now made available to our CDS students and faculty as a result of this partnership:

1. #WinAtSocial Gamified Curriculum: Turnkey, 4th-12th grade, full-year curriculum addressing social-emotional learning, social media, and technology delivered easily and flexibly during Advisory and/or general classroom setting.
2. Parent Resources: Parents can stay ahead of the curve and help their children make positive choices with parent presentations and content.
3. Webinar or In-person Student, Parent, and Educator Presentations: Students, parents, and educators will be empowered by TSI presentations about social media, technology, and social-emotional learning.

Each division has identified senior and junior leads who will work directly with TSI’s Learning and Development team to effectively implement TSI as a powerful Social-Emotional Learning tool here at Carrollwood Day School.
