Rosia Rowe, Class of 2014 Alumni

Rosia Rowe graduated CDS in 2014. Rosia is an alumna of Auburn University graduating Class of 2019. She graduated as a Bachelor of Biosystems Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature. Rosia has been involved with organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers, 100+ Women Strong, and ASABE. She volunteers and participates within organizations that help cultivate skills in the STEM areas that also focus on diversity, inclusion, and the expansion of upcoming students who pursue engineering. Rosia is currently working at CONSOR Engineers (www.consoreng.com) in Fort Myers, Florida within the water/wastewater engineering vertical. Prior to this position, Rosia worked in Chicago, IL at Robert Morris University with the Upward Bound as a math tutor.

In his statement of purpose, CDS Class of 2015, Carlos Acuña, stated "One's legacy is determined by our creative solutions to life's complexities. Always go the extra mile and live day by day with one goal in mind; to raise your family name to new heights."  We are so proud of how Carlos is doing that with the recent acceptance to the University of Florida's Masters of Engineering Structures Program. With experience in high-scale design and construction projects, Carlos has an exciting future in Civil Engineering. Congratulations Carlos! We know you are headed for greatness.
