Speech & Debate held their Regional Grand Finals tournament on Saturday and the team came away with four qualifiers for Grand Nationals in Washington DC. Qualifying were, Carter C. ('23) and Vikram B. ('23) in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Katia T. ('24) in Oratorical Declamation, and Cathy P. ('25) in Original Oratory. Also, attending the Regional Grand Final were Jada C. ('25) who placed as an alternate in Original Oratory, and Rohan P. ('25) and Jago S. ('25) in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.

Speech & Debate is a highly coveted experience by colleges. Anyone interested in joining next year should contact Mr. Jannereth or plan to attend the Speech & Debate Summer Camp the week of July 25th. Events include debate, interpretive performance, duo interpretive performance, original, declamation, and extemporaneous speaking.
