Rising to the Challenge: CDS Girls Flag Football Team's Outstanding Season

The Carrollwood Day School Girls Flag Football Team, had an outstanding season this year. Despite being a young team, they showed tremendous improvement and determination on the field, ultimately proving themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

One of the most remarkable achievements of the team was beating the eventual district champions, Tarpon Springs, during the regular season. This victory showcased the team's talent and potential, and they worked hard to build on this success throughout the season.

In an unforgettable game that lasted four overtimes, the Patriots unfortunately lost by just one point in the district playoff game. Despite the heartbreaking end to their playoff run, the team can hold their heads high knowing that they gave it their all and left everything on the field.

Throughout the season, the Patriots shut out four opponents, a testament to their hard work and talent on the field. They also competed in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers PreSeason Classic flag football tournament, where they went undefeated with a record of 2-0, showcasing their skills against tough opponents.

Overall, the Carrollwood Day Patriots had a remarkable season, marked by their impressive improvement and dedication. We are proud to have such talented athletes on our team and can't wait to see what the future holds for them. Congratulations, Patriots!
