Kiera Osborn, Class of 2022

A Spotlight on Artistic Achievement: Making her mark at USC School of Dramatic Arts

The University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts and Kaufman School of Dance provide a stage for students to excel, and that is exactly what CDS Class of 2022 Alumna, Keira Osborne plans on doing. Keira is majoring in Musical Theatre and minoring in Choreography for the Stage and Screen.

As a student at USC, Keira's path has been marked by creative exploration, learning, and unparalleled opportunities. Notably, she is now making a name for herself as the Associate Choreographer for USC SDA's Mainstage production of "Dance Nation" by Clare Barron, slated to open on October 20th.

This achievement underscores her commitment to the arts and provides a unique experience in her artistic career. Working alongside the esteemed choreographer and mentor, Kitty McNamee, whose portfolio includes choreographing for the Los Angeles Ballet and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Keira is gaining invaluable insights into the world of choreography.

What sets this accomplishment apart is that Keira is the first student in USC's history to hold the position of Associate Choreographer, a testament to her ingenuity and dedication to her craft.

As the curtains rise on this exciting chapter of her journey, CDS eagerly looks forward to the artistic growth and creativity that the future holds for Keira.

We are so proud to call Keira a CDS Patriot and can't wait to hear what she does next. Do you have an alumni update? Email us! We'd love to feature you.
