What's loud, recyclable, from another continent, and a little bit silly? Didgeridoo Down Under!
Once a year, the lower school welcomes Darren Liebman, the founder, owner, manager, and performer of Didgeridoo Down Under to come and perform with his various Didgeridoos. Not content to just play music, Darren has created a presentation that includes character building, anti-bullying messages, environmentalism, diversity education, and audience participation. The result is an educational interactive show that our students will never forget.

From a didgeridoo made from blue jeans in an effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle, to a skinny one that sounded like a baby elephant, the energy in the room was palpable. CDS students in Kindergarten through third grade got to dance, laugh, and learn all about Australia, the aboriginal people, and treating people with kindness is the way we make this world a better place.
Thank you Darren for bringing your amazing show to CDS every year. We are already looking forward to next year. Want to know more about the program? Visit www.didgedownunder.com.
