Our very own Aarnav C. and Suma P. clinched spots at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), which took place at the prestigious Anaheim Convention Center in California from April 27th to 30th!
Aarnav and Suma, both esteemed members of the CDS DECA program, showcased their talents in two distinct events. Aarnav dived into the intricacies of the Personal Financial Literacy Event, while Suma shined in the Marketing Communication Services Event.
The DECA ICDC conference is renowned for its intense competition, where students face a series of rigorous exams and role-plays before esteemed judges. With attendance boasting 15,000 high school students hailing from all 50 states and various foreign countries, the atmosphere is electrifying with enthusiasm and ambition.
Aarnav's remarkable achievement as the only finalist from Florida in his category, securing an impressive 8th place overall.
