We are thrilled to announce that Kiara T., a 10th-grade student at Carrollwood Day School, has been accepted into the prestigious CURIE Academy program at Cornell University this summer. Kiara is one of only 50 students from around the country to be selected for this highly competitive program.
The CURIE Academy program is a one-week residential program that combines classroom work and research while exposing students to various engineering fields. This year's project will focus on Biomedical Engineering, an exciting and rapidly evolving field that holds great promise for improving human health.
During her time at Cornell, Kiara will have the opportunity to work with world-class researchers and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge research projects. She will also have the chance to meet and network with other high-achieving students from around the country who share her passion for science and engineering.
We are incredibly proud of Kiara for this remarkable achievement and we can't wait to see what she will accomplish at Cornell and beyond. Her acceptance into the CURIE Academy program is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and talent, and we are confident that she will continue to excel in her academic and professional pursuits.
Congratulations, Kiara, on this outstanding accomplishment! We can't wait to see where your passion for engineering will take you in the future.
