The Boost agenda was diverse and dynamic, including learning labs led by seasoned professionals in their respective fields. Ms. Killion spearheaded a session on Universal Design for Learning, offering insights into creating inclusive learning environments. Cari Gibson led an interactive session on Innovative Thinking, encouraging educators to think outside the box and embrace creativity in their teaching practices. Meanwhile, Jennifer Dosher delved into Conceptual Thinking, exploring ways to cultivate critical thinking skills among students.

Throughout the event, visiting educators had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the CDS experience. They participated in classroom observations, gaining firsthand insights into the school's teaching methodologies. Roundtable discussions, facilitated by CDS's IB coordinators Lisa Vicencio, Sabrina McCartney, and Nancy Hsu along with Assistant Head of School, Tim Walsh, provided platforms for sharing best practices and exchanging ideas.

The IB Boost not only provided a platform for professional development but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration. Carrollwood Day School's commitment to fostering excellence in education shines through events like these, reaffirming its status as a leader in the field of innovative teaching and learning.
