Carrollwood Day School was buzzing with excitement on Monday, April 24th, as the upper school and senior parents gathered in the theater for the highly anticipated announcement of their college choices. This was a day that the students, faculty, and staff had been eagerly anticipating, and after countless hours of hard work and dedication, they were finally ready to take the next step in their academic journey.
As the ceremony began, each senior took the stage to proudly announce their college of choice. The room was filled with cheers and applause as the students shared their future plans with their classmates, teachers, and proud parents.
Carrollwood Day School's Director of College Counseling, Drew Guarino, was equally as thrilled to announce that the Class of 2023 had students who were heading off to colleges all over Florida and the United States. Our students received acceptances to some of the most selective schools in the country and will matriculate to several competitive institutions including Duke University, Tufts University, Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Florida, Cornell University, Colby College, Johns Hopkins University, Rice University, and so many more. The Class of 2023 has set a high standard of academic excellence that will continue to inspire future generations of CDS students. The school's faculty and administration are confident that these talented seniors will go onto great achievements and make a positive impact on the world.
As the ceremony came to a close, the students beamed with pride as they celebrated their hard-earned accomplishments. Their success is a testament to their dedication and perseverance, and they are well-prepared for the challenges that lay ahead.
