Celebrating the Achievements of CDS Alumnus Parth Madabhushi

We are delighted to share exciting updates about Parth Madabhushi, a Class of 2021 Alumnus who continues to make waves in the world of arts, academics, and martial arts.

Parth recently completed his solo percussion recital, known as a Mridangam arangetram, alongside the renowned Padma Shri A. Kanyakumari on the violin. A four-time World Karate champion, Parth earned the title of Sensei in Shitu-Ryu, representing Team USA at the WKC championships four times. He has completed his Bachelor of Arts from Alagappa University in Karaikudi, India, and is currently a second-year Business student at the University of South Florida.

Exciting Developments:

Nruthya Sikhamani Title: In the past year, Parth was honored with the title "Nruthya Sikhamani" by Alagappa University and the Alagappa group of educational institutions in Chennai, India. He was invited to address and motivate students about time management, pursuing arts, and academics simultaneously. You can watch his inspiring speech here.

Alumni Update Parth

Accompanying International Artists: Following his Mridangam recital last year, Parth has been accompanying international artists. He recently showcased his talent by accompanying Aishwarya and Soundarya in a concert in Seattle on October 6th. Despite being a junior at USF pursuing Business Administration, Parth is steadily making a name for himself in both dance and Mridangam.
