Carrollwood Day School is proud of the achievements of its alumni and is always eager to hear about their post-graduation experiences! CDS maintains a vibrant alumni community and encourages graduates to stay connected through various events and initiatives.

Recently, we caught up with Katie Takeuchi '12, when we saw the announcement that she will return to Notre Dame Law School to work as a legal fellow in the Exoneration Justice Clinic. Katie graduated with her J.D. in 2020. 

Katie was a member of the CDS Class of 2012, our third graduating class, and was very involved when she was a student. She was President of the National Honor Society, VP of the Student Council, captain of the cross country team, and involved in the newspaper, the environmental club, performing arts, and the soccer team. 

After her time at CDS Katie went on to George Washington University, graduating in 2016 and then on to Notre Dame Law School.
