Alice Sutton ’26 - A Heart for Service and a Gift for Storytelling
Alice Sutton

Junior Alice Sutton ’26 is a remarkable presence at Carrollwood Day School. Not only is she a dedicated IB student, but she is a compassionate advocate for others. With a selfless heart and a deep commitment to making a difference both in and outside the classroom, she has devoted herself to causes ranging from promoting mental health awareness to volunteering her time with people experiencing homelessness.

Recently, Alice sat down with Tampa Beacon reporter Mike Camunas to share her journey with the Open Arms Ministry.  During her time volunteering, Alice listened closely to the powerful stories of the people she served. She committed to building relationships with them, and recently published a book honoring their resilience and humanity, creating a lasting tribute to their lives.

Alice’s commitment to serving and uplifting others is an inspiring reflection of the CDS spirit. As we celebrate her achievements, let her story inspire the entire CDS family to continue fostering compassion and a desire to serve others. Congratulations, Alice, on this extraordinary accomplishment! Your passion and dedication exemplify the heart of Patriot Nation.
