Last semester, as the 8th-grade students studied the Age of Exploration, they researched a particular voyage and explorer.  That research became a children's book about their adventures and first contact with Native peoples.  This week and next, the students will read their books with the entire 5th grade and with Ms. Flansberg's 4th-grade class.  So far, a great affirmation for the 8th graders who opened the world to some very enthusiastic children!
