He earned both his B.S. in elementary education and M.S. in School Counseling and Student Services at Kansas State University. He is honored to serve students as a counselor, serving others as he has been served by community members and educators.

“As a school counselor, I feel blessed with the opportunity to empower and propel students, and the overall school community to newer heights. I seek to combine vision, ingenuity, and strong counseling acumen with well-developed program management and leadership qualities to support organizational effectiveness and reach.”

An Eagle Scout as a youth, outdoors is a second home for Pedro. He loves to hike, camp, and participate in any activity that involves nature. After 20 years in Kansas, he is looking forward to exploring his new surroundings in Tampa. Pedro is fluent in Portuguese (his mother tongue) and Spanish.
