Grace Rho is joining the student support team at the Lower School as the new LS Academic Learning Specialist. She has been a Learning Specialist for 11 years in independent schools in NY and is excited to continue that journey at CDS. She earned her BS in English Literature and Psychology at Binghamton University and holds an ME Ed in General and Special Education from Bank Street School.

Grace and her husband have two children. They moved to Tampa to be close to extended family. Grace shares, “I’m grateful and excited about joining the CDS community. I am particularly excited about the mission of the school. I believe in building up students who have strong character and a moral compass. Also, being an entrepreneur in today’s ever changing society is extremely important. Additionally, I plan on collaborating with all of the Lower School teachers. I’ll be doing a whole lot of active listening as I get to know the administration, faculty, staff, and students my first year. “
