Colleen McEvoy has taught and directed theater in New York City, Hawaii, and Florida for nearly 20 years.  She has a MA from Teacher's College, Columbia University and an MFA from the University of Hawaii. She has taught students and adults of all ages and abilities and is extremely proud of all her actors. She has directed countless productions and loves to find creative ways to tell stories, make audiences think, and to magically captivate her audience.  For the last 5 years, she has dedicated her work to growing and strengthening the CDS theater program.  Mrs. McEvoy is extremely proud of her work with the CDS students. Recent productions including, I Never Saw Another Butterfly and The Laramie Project, are some of the most important pieces she has directed.  Mrs. McEvoy truly believes that theater can change the world and she looks forward to creating theater magic for years to come.
