#ThankfulThursday & we're thankful for this CDS Alumni

Before Carrollwood Day School had an upper school, our 8th graders finished middle school with pomp and circumstance and we wished them well as they headed towards those later teen years and then adulthood. We have been thrilled to hear from so many of those early CDS 8th-grade graduates who have let us know that their CDS family and friends still hold a special place in their hearts. These CDS Alumni have gone on to do some amazing things and many have future CDS Patriots of their own.

The CDS 8th grade class of 2003 was each asked "What helps you the most in your quest to be the best you can be?" For Christian Giammugnani the answer was easy. "Kindness. I show kindness at school with my classmates and at home with my family too." This genuine response has led Christian from 8th grade into a lifetime of helping people.

After middle school at CDS, Christian headed off to high school, college, and work in construction. But it was a chance meeting on an airplane coming home from Las Vegas where he met a woman who would be his future wife. Married in 2013, Christian and his wife have welcomed two beautiful boys Mason and Bryson and live in Seminole, FL. After years in the construction business, Christian is now following that quest to continue helping people and is pursuing a career as a firefighter.
